#LIFEGOALS

Goals should be realistic and achievable, but this shouldn't restrict us from pushing beyond the threshold. Goals are a necessary part of life. Without them, we would be moving about mindlessly with no sense of necessity. And with that, these are my goals for my high school career and moving forward into this world of endless possibilities:

One of my goals for this year is to put procrastination behind me. Procrastination has been a recurring issue for me in my time as a Mayfair student, and this year I have finally decided to put this habit to rest. Another goal of mine for this year is to push myself to be more involved with school activities, such as clubs and extracurricular activities. It will leave me with a fond memory of high school when my time as a student of Mayfair comes to a halt.

In terms of my skills as a writer, I would love to bring more creativity to my work. I consider myself an experienced/novice writer, and I believe improving that would be a tremendous help.

Moving into the future, I'm looking into enlisting in the military after graduation, most likely the Marines or Navy. I feel it would be good to give back and it would be an excellent way to gain additional discipline one can't quite attain in daily life. After I serve for x amount of terms, I intend on moving to Washington and attending the University of Seattle, which houses an excellent biology program. I hope to earn a degree in biology and find a job in the biological field.

And with that, these are my goals for the future. Please feel free to comment and leave goals of your own. :)

  1. I definitely agree with you that realistic goals are necessary but it's okay to surpass them. I also hope that one day you get to achieve these goals! #stopprocrastination2k16

  2. Great job for recognizing your weaknesses and setting a goal to turn a new leaf that's very admirable. Make sure to never lose that when you pursue your careers in the military and the biological field!
