Goals Or Fails
I think its really important to set realistic and time sensitive goals in life because many people have extremely high expectations. Like some people think that they can wake up as a millionaire one day because the day before they made a video that went "viral", obviously this is not the case for most people. Why would you want to set yourself up for disappointment when that "dream" doesn't work out for you? So people should just stick to reachable goals, with some back up plans as well. My goals for this school year are to think more complex and do better in math. My career goal is to become an occupational therapist or an anesthesiologist, and on the weekends do makeup for bridal showers, parties etc. I plan on going to college, but something more along the lines of a Cal State because they seem more laid back. I also plan on taking cosmetology classes, more specifically makeup courses and get my certificate so I can work and build my own set of clients while going to school. I hope to study abroad in Greece for one semester because it seems like a really beautiful city and Rome's close by. I have these goals because I enjoy working with kids and helping them be more comfortable in their environment, and I also enjoy doing makeup so I'd see it more as something to look forward to, rather than a chore. Being an anesthesiologist interests me because you have to be precise and very diligent, but its kind of scary because you could accidentally over dose someone, while trying to save them. It's either hit or miss and I don't know if Id be able to live comfortably if I accidentally killed someone...
Very interesting, this is the first time I've seen someone aiming for a cosmetology major. I think that you'll reach your goals so long as you stick with your line of thought right now.
