I spent some time thinking up a person who even somewhat resembled Batman. Turns out it was right in front of me all along. I would personally consider my uncle to be my Batman, in so many facets that one could say he may actually be Batman. One, which is just a funny resemhlance, is his initially offputting attitude. Much like Bruce/Batman, he is almost emotionless, until you become close enough to him to be able to get to know him. Also, like Batman, he's constantly out and about saving lives as a firefighter. He risks his life everyday to save others without much worry for his own self being, which I find particularly admirable.
I'm sure by now you're absolutely positive that my uncle is Batman. Sadly, that is simply untrue. However, he is a passionate, considerate man who values the lives of others. His dedication and sense of compassion and need to protect those he loves and even the lives of total strangers is what makes him my Batman.
I think it's very sweet that you thought of your uncle and props to him for risking his life to save others.
ReplyDeleteI admire your uncle! I find his responsibility is key for him to be similar to Batman. Not everyone is brave enough to save people by the day.
ReplyDeleteJudging from what I read, your uncle is a great man. He shows all the right traits of what we considered to be a loving person. Its nice how compared that to Batman better side
