Elemental by Antony John
For my second quarter book, I was being drawn to a character whose misfortune kept getting in his way of connecting to other people and himself, in a spiritual sense. The character I feel sorry for is a boy named Thomas; he is the main character as a matter of fact. The book Elemental is or should I say has the same type of characteristics or traits as Avatar the Last Air Bender, plus extra. People can control water, earth, fire, and air; however, with the control of those elements, they can also feel temperature changes, swells, storms, and many other things. The sad part is, Thomas and his brother don't have any powers too two parents that have powers. In the beginning of the novel he begins to be a savage and roast people on how they didn't detect a storm and how they aren't pulling their own weight. The funny part is, during the emergency evacuation, he is under a tree with his brother watching everyone work to protect their houses. I can't really say if he is a dynamic character however, he does make lots of progress in his love life. This makes the story more interesting because in my opinion, he gets closer to his inner element and his inner spirit. I would recommend this book to people that are spiritual, and for people that love fiction. Personally, I love this book because of the way that the story presents it.

Good analysis and explanation but you need to work on your grammar there Is one mistake involving too in the sentence about the parents.
